OSPBER 101A: Contemporary Theater in Berlin (Way: A-II)

One theatrical production is attended each week in this mecca of international theater, focusing on the season's finest productions, which range from the German classics, contemporary German and European drama, to playwriting and theaters of migration. Texts of plays are supplemented by theoretical writings of respective playwrights and background reading in theater history and theory. Weekly theater trips and discussions with theater professionals. Taught in English.
